CBD · formulation and absorption

Provitura uses micro-emulsified CBD. Knaub’s 16-person study found 4.4× peak concentration and 1.7× 24-hour exposure for VESIsorb versus MCT oil. Hobbs compared two powders mixed in water. Neither tested Provitura or establishes a fourfold product benefit.

CBD · stress and anxiety

Bidwell’s 2024 study compared cannabis flower products in a quasi-experimental design. Shannon’s uncontrolled case series reported lower anxiety scores in 79.2% of 72 adults after one month. These findings and the earlier review do not establish a treatment effect from Provitura.

CBD · sleep quality

Shannon reported improved sleep scores in 66.7% after one month, with later fluctuations. In Narayan’s small placebo-controlled trial, 150 mg CBD nightly was similar to placebo on most sleep outcomes. Evidence is mixed and does not demonstrate a sleep benefit from Provitura.

CBD · pain and inflammation

In Frane’s self-selected survey of 428 people with arthritis, 83% reported pain improvements. This was not a controlled trial. Atalay reviews biological mechanisms, including laboratory findings; these do not demonstrate pain relief or anti-inflammatory effects from Provitura.

CBD · mood and emotional processing

Linge studied antidepressant-like effects in mice. Bitencourt and Takahashi reviewed emotional-memory research. These findings do not establish CBD as a treatment for depression or demonstrate mood benefits from Provitura; robust human evidence remains necessary.

Curcumin

Ferguson’s review of 32 trials found reductions in several inflammatory markers. Daily’s review reported promising arthritis findings but limited evidence. The studies used different preparations and doses; their results cannot be assumed for Provitura’s formula.

Piperine

Shoba studied 2 g curcumin with 20 mg piperine and reported a 2000% increase in curcumin bioavailability. Provitura’s published daily amounts are 150 mg curcumin and 5 mg piperine, so that result cannot be transferred to this product.
